The Smoking Process

At Dave's Smokehouse in Seabrook, TX, we believe in doing BBQ the old-fashioned way. Every brisket is slow-smoked for up to 12 hours over real Texas Post Oak. We don't cut corners, and we definitely don't use liquid smoke.

Our commitment starts at the butcher block. Because we are a full-service meat market, our pitmasters have first pick of the finest, freshest USDA Choice briskets, pork ribs, and chickens. Fresh, never frozen meat paired with our signature dry rub and decades of smoking experience results in the most authentic Texas BBQ you'll find in the Bay Area.

What time do you usually sell out of BBQ?

We smoke a set amount of meat fresh every single day. While we are open until 6pm (Monday - Saturday), our popular items like Sliced Brisket and Pork Ribs frequently sell out by mid-afternoon. We recommend arriving early or calling ahead!

Can I order BBQ to-go?

Absolutely. You can order chopped beef sandwiches, loaded baked potatoes, and multi-meat plates directly through our online ordering system for quick pickup.

What kind of wood do you use to smoke your meats?

We use authentic Texas Post Oak. It provides a clean, mild, and sweet smoke flavor that perfectly complements our beef without overpowering the natural taste of our USDA Choice cuts.
