Where do you source your meat?
We source USDA Choice grade beef, northern pork, and Grade A Texas poultry — all fresh and never frozen. Our butchers hand-cut every piece from the case each morning. We grind our own beef daily with no additives or fillers.
Can I order Dave's Smokehouse BBQ online?
Yes! You can order hot BBQ for pickup through our Clover online ordering portal. Orders are ready for pickup — we do not deliver at this time.
Do you offer catering?
Yes! We cater events of all sizes with both our raw market meats and hot Smokehouse BBQ. Catering is by phone only — call us at (281) 326-7164 to discuss your event's needs and get a custom quote. See our full catering page →
Are your sausages made in-house?
Yes — every single one. We make a large variety of smoked and raw sausages entirely in-house. Varieties include jalapeño cheddar brisket sausage, breakfast sausage links, smoked kielbasa, and more. Ask your butcher what's fresh today.
Can you cut meat to my specifications?
Absolutely. Just ask! We can cut steaks to any thickness, portion roasts to custom weights, or put together a specific mix for your order. That's the advantage of a real butcher shop — we work for you, not a corporate warehouse.
What are your hours?
We are open Tuesday through Saturday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Dave's Smokehouse opens at 10:30 AM. We are closed Sunday and Monday. Note: We sometimes sell out of popular BBQ items early, so come in before 2 PM for the best selection!
Do you offer family bulk packs?
Yes! We offer customizable family freezer packs to help you stock up and save. Packages are hand-cut fresh to order. Pricing is based on daily market rates — call us at (281) 326-7164 to discuss current pricing and place your order.
Is the BBQ restaurant separate from the butcher shop?
They are in the same building! Dave's Smokehouse is located inside Bay Area Meat Market at 537 Kirby Rd. You can grab a plate of BBQ and pick up fresh cuts to take home — all in one stop.
